The Guru Gyan Academy prepares students who aspire to go abroad for higher/further studies or for professional purposes. For this they need to take an English proficiency exam known as the IELTS Exam. The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) measures the language proficiency of people who want to study or work where English is used as a language of communication.
The Guru Gyan Academy prepares students for both IELTS Academic as well as IELTS General Training. The IELTS Academic is for people who apply for higher education or professional registration, and the IELTS General Training is for those migrating to Australia, Canada and the UK, or applying for secondary education, training programmes and work experience in an English-speaking milieu. For both the exams the four language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking are tested. IELTS is available at more than 1,200 locations worldwide, including more than 50 locations in the USA, and there are 48 test dates a year.
The IELTS preparatory courses are conducted by the Guru Gyan Academy is for a period of 4-6 weeks. Classes are held from Monday to Friday. The training is based on research-based innovative English language learning techniques. The training is conducted by qualified and professional trainers who have several years of training and other experiences in their respective fields. All the four modules of Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing are covered daily. Special emphasis is laid on basics and fluency development.
